V&A International

The V&A is the world's leading museum of art and design with a global reputation for excellence. As well as reaching an international audience at the Museum's London sites, the V&A's collection is seen across the world through touring exhibitions and loans. It shares its expertise through curatorial exchanges, inter-museum partnerships, and via a comprehensive and scholarly website. The American Friends of the V&A complements and enhances this international strategy.

Travel with the V&A

American Friends of the V&A are invited to join V&A supporters on exclusive cultural tours of private and royal collections around the world. Curator-led, the itineraries include places not normally accessible to the public accompanied by the expertise of the world's leading scholars. Participants are given the opportunity to meet leading cultural figures and other patrons of the arts in the host country, and at the same time help the V&A to reinforce its international relationships. Past tours have included India (pictured), Rome and Palermo, Istanbul, Paris, Venice, Japan and Andalusia. In October we visit Syria.

V&A Enterprises trades through publishing and licensing across the world. Book rights are extensively sold, and V&A Images works with a number of international agencies and partners, helping the V&A showcase and promote the UK creative economy.
